My Learning Coaches offers small-group classes for homeschoolers and individual tutoring for all students.
Learning Coach tutors, Dave and Alisa DeBorde, are experienced and certified teachers who have successfully taught elementary through university students.

MEET YOUR COACHES
Alisa DeBorde
Alisa DeBorde has coached students who have studied at and graduated from some of the best schools in the nation, to name a few: Harvard, Yale, Davidson, Duke, Notre Dame, U Pennsylvania, U Florida, Vanderbilt, William and Mary, Wheaton, and U of Miami. She has twenty-five years of teaching and tutoring experience, is a state certified educator in English, grades 6-12, and has been teaching literature and composition at the university level for the past sixteen years. She holds a BA in English Education, as well as an MA & PhD in Literature and Composition. Alisa has tutored English, math, SAT/ACT, history, and science courses for over twenty years.
Dave DeBorde
Dave has been teaching for the past twenty plus years. He holds a BA in English Education, an MA in Communications and a MFA in Screen Writing. Dave taught drama at Rochelle School of the Arts, directed the Lipscomb graduate film program, and currently teaches film production and screenwriting at Lipscomb University. He has directed feature-length films, sold several full-length scripts, produced reality TV, conducted high-level film and media education panels at venues such as Cannes and Sundance, and has directed many theatrical productions (professional and school theatre). Dave’s interest in writing excellent screenplays works alongside his passion for history, communication, and literature.
